OMG, you guys, your answers to the ‘how we met’ meme are killing me. FANTASTIC.

It helps with the knowledge that with my laptop may have gone around 2.5k of a 12k fic I was working on. RAWR NO. Those were good words! And I can’t find where I originally fit them into the narrative! *frustrated*

Oh well… Jae wrote me a continuance of her Indulgence arc, Indulgence 4, as thanks for beta-ing a fic, and it’s fucking hot. I have a bit of a kink for somnophilia, but only when it’s played a certain way, and that certain way is all over this arc. Draco responds even in sleep! There’s a bit where he wakes up and is all OMG NO! Harry has all this mystic-vampire-sexy and I don’t find it annoying, it’s a bloody miracle!

Another rec for the Ron/Draco fans: OMG HOW IS THIS ART SO CUTE. SO SO CUTE. Oh Draco’s all squished and his LITTLE PINK NOSE and SAD FACE and Ron's untucked shirt and his HAIR and "I can't" and OMGGGG. ineslee brings the adorable.

I’ve been sleeping ten hours a night lately but still feeling tired during the day; I’m getting frequent headaches. The last couple of days I was having very mild dizzy spells. WHAT IS WRONG, I asked myself.

At which point I remembered:

A: I’m anaemic, and was so even when living at home with sausages and broccoli etc
B: A bit of chicken is all the meat I’ve eaten in the last two weeks
C: I also haven’t been having dark green veg or taking iron supplements

*FACEPALMING FOREVER*

Okay, so I am going to do my usual thing when feeling depressed, and guilty about whining to you guys:

DRABBLE MEME!

I’m going to limit this one to five people, due to the aforementioned fatigue; but once we’ve gone past five, you can still request a drabble, they’re just not guaranteed any more.

Fandoms: Harry Potter, White Collar, New Who/Torchwood, Buffy/Angel, Diana Wynne Jones. Ask me about a book fandom or Old Who if you so choose, I might be able to hook you up. Ask for pairings/threesomes/moresomes, give me a prompt, a kink, a scenario, some combination... have fun.

I think the idea of the Headmaster of a school being the only one feared by a villain seeking immortality is fantastic, because children remind us of our mortality. “Dumbledore’s army” of growing children defeating ‘Voldemort’ is great conceptually, as is the idea that Voldemort’s follower chose her child over him, and that’s what took him down. The same thing goes for Lily: Voldemort believed his mother could not have had magic, because she died. Seeking to kill a child who would defeat him, he was destroyed by another mother’s death for her child. Despite my discomfort with some of the Mother Love idealism in HP, the stuff about parenthood as a kind of immortality, about the instinct to protect your child overcoming greed or fear, about children being the next generation who will replace you and that’s okay... Sometimes HP gives good meta.

Possibly I am just justifying why I wrote mpreg. I have no particular problem with mpreg, I’ve read it on occasion, and my discomfort with Let All The Characters Be Men, No Ladies Here Please isn’t something inherent or limited to mpreg. But I’ve only written it once before, and that was for the lulz.
