Today’s entry is a meme nicked off kc_anathema. Comment and I'll ask you five questions, which you then have to post to your LJ with the answers.


1. Confident that you can finish NaBloPoMo ? Truthfully – not at all! Did I mention the insanely busy thing?

2. Fluff or angst? Angst! Fluff! Angst! This was a really mean question to ask of a bona-fide genre hopper, but on the whole I think angst. The fics I remember as truly superlative are almost all darkfics, however much fluff makes me smile.

3. Best kind of gag? A cock. ;)

4. Ever have that feeling that you're being watched? (Nice haircut, btw.) *shivers* Actually, I totally had a moment of fear that softly_sweetly was watching me the other day. /enigmatic

5. Most bizarre dream that you remember? Dear God, where do I begin? Last night’s was amazing and epic and included Harry and Draco and Giles and Hitler and Dumbledore/St Patrick/Cro Magnon man, and a dead soldier from WW1. Seriously, it was amazing. But I think the bizarrest dream I’ve ever had was one from about a week ago: this single dream included St Paul’s School for Boys, transgender Nazis, a vampire jumping from a second-storey window, three Knights of the Order of the Garter (all wearing garters), a spy trying to kill Vladimir Putin and declaring atheism by throwing buckets of water into the Thames.

Hee. The recent one was really weird. I was seeing it all from Draco's POV, and it was like... somehow me and Harry had become friends in war, and it was all really bloody and our favourite hex was - can't remember the actual words any more but it meant "rise up you freaks!" Other weird stuff happened.

Then we became mates with this WW1 soldier and then Harry and he were sitting watching the sun rise on this battlefield covered with the dead, and I/Draco was standing behind them while they had this deep moment and then we realised the soldier was dead too - a zombie. And in a perfect moment of "wow my subconscious is clever!", Harry and Draco/me used the "rise up you freaks!" to raise those killed in the battle - an army of the dead. They were shambling along behind us in the rising dawn, woolly mammoths and WW1 soldiers and wizards from the Voldemort wars, and Harry and I were walking and I was dancing along fake-fighting with my sword. I was gleeful, Harry was pleased - "They're going to see us!" I said, and Harry said "this means they won't be able to forget us." This guy walked with us - an old man, and I had a moment where I thought I knew he was Dumbledore, but then he was St Patrick, or Cro Magnon man... and then I woke up.

So, er, yeah. I have deep-feeling, epic, complicated, strange dreams.

Wow, I hardly ever remember most of my dreams...

1. Tell me about a weird dream of yours!
-Umm... well one time when I was maybe 13~14 I dreamed I was walking through a forest with my mom, and all the trees were on fire. There was even a fireman IN one of the trees, but when I pointed all this out to my mom, she wouldn't believe me. Then, in the middle of the path, I saw what was quite possibly the scariest thing I have ever seen, although I can't remember what it looks like now. She also refused to believe this, and then I woke up because I was so frightened.
2. Captain Hammer or Doctor Horrible?
-Dr. Horrible all the way, although I am very much a fan of them as a pairing, and want there to be more of it. There is a lot of potential for darkfic with them... mmmm...
3. What's your (you think) most unusual kink?
-Hmm... I'm pretty kinky, but I think I'd have to say gun and/or knifeplay. I don't know if I'd ever be able to practice them in real life though...

Whoa. That sounds like a really scary dream.

Good decision! Captain Hammer makes me want to stab him. It could be an interesting pairing, but tbh I wouldn't read it because Doctor Horrible deserves better.

I am queen of mind-bending things like comparing zombies and unicorns. :D
