I love the wonderful moment of uncertainty at the very end, when the reader realises that this might not be the end. I can just about see Ron's lips moving, and have no idea if I want him to say 'yes' or 'no'.
I knew I wanted to end it that way from the beginning - partly because it's a moment when Ron realises his behaviour is unforgivable too. But yeah, the open ending is fun. Anything could happen.
