Good things come in threes...

enchanted_jae came today! Thanks so much, Jae! I'm glad you had a good time. Plus, I feel all international now.
Second: I got back my marks for the mocks (mock exams before the summer) and I got all As in English! Haven't got back anything else, but pfft. What are other subjects beside the one where you read and discuss? Besides, the other thing I did in class today was watch the last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth. This is appropriate use of class time, y/n? I've got to say y.
Third: I've mentioned before that I'm working on an original novel, set in Wiltshire. It's been hard trying to do remote research; I live twenty miles from London, which means that Stonehenge is a distressingly long way away. Internet research had come up empty.
But today, my local librarian (yes, all right, we know each other's names and taste in novels) gave me a printout of stuff from a local village's website! It had all these helpful things about Stonehenge! And she told me how long her husband took walking through the village when he visited - meaning I can work out how long it takes to run from villainous wizards through it!
I'm just so amazed by this last one. It was so completely kind and selfless, just helping me research because she knows I can't go there myself. People are good, aren't they?
In mentioning all the good things, I'm probably waving a big sign to Fate that reads, "come smite me!" but I don't even care. It's a good day to be alive!
Oh, and also I have drabbles. One of which is mild porn. Spread the joy!
