It was odd to see Spike’s face under the fluorescent lighting of this hellhole, for all that Spike had always been modern. An oil lamp would fit him better; or perhaps the flashing, coloured lights in some dim club; or just the flame of his lighter, licking at his cheekbones from underneath.

The image of William reading by the fire, hair dishevelled, hit Angel between the eyes. He’d look up and smile, face glowing with adoration, flames lending a flush to his skin.

The harsh lights on radioactive hair were as wrong and disjointed as everything else in this place.

:0 I totally love non-fluff toooo. Like the many kinks drabbles on Spike you did. I just go all :( if it's a sad ending, though on occasions if I am being an angst whore I hope for character deaths because then HAH YOU JERK SEE WHAT YOU DID. D: and it is justified. xD Or something. I am a freak, I know. x)

Oh man. This fandom is eating my brain. I can't watch Angel without hoping for some touchy feely moment.

D: IT IS. I especially love the last episode I watched, with the Immortal and all the Spike/Angel interaction and William/Angelus crack. ♥
