HEY, Giles isn't condescending! (Well, occasionally to Xander/in s1). He's not bossy, either - he takes Buffy's orders from early on - or smug, to my mind. I'm not sure I'd describe Percy as bossy... he's a know-it-all and sometimes condescending, but I have a hard time taking any of his smugness as anything but insecurity because he's painfully vulnerable so often.

AND LILAH, YES. SHE IS AWESOME. Total HBIC, incredibly funny, clever, and her affair with Wesley kills me.

And, just - remember when she gets rid of her boss in the first episode of series 4?

"Just under it, actually."

THAT IS SO AWESOME.

:) I have sympathy for the Riley-Finn-can-die thing, though. I love him a lot but God he's flawed. And YAY I love fellow Gunn fans, because he doesn't have NEARLY as many as he should.
